Controlling RF Power on WL1271L/TiWi-ble Device

Hi,

I have a requirement to control the RF output power for this device
when running an RFCOMM/SPP profile for both BR/EDR and BLE. I have the
HCI vendor-specific user's guide

  http://www.digitalsignallabs.com/hci-vs-commands.pdf

and I am trying to determine which of three RF power commands is the
right one to use.

  1. Section 6.1.67 defines a "DRPb" "class 2" RF power command. I
don't know what DRPb means or what "class 2" is.

  2. Section 6.1.73 defines another "DRPb" RF power command.

  3. Section 6.1.103 defines a "FE" configuration command. What is
"FE"? The field "MAX Allowed output power" seems like it could be
the control I want, but it does state that this sets the "maximum
output power." I don't really want to set the maximum power level,
  rather, THE (unvarying) power level.

I would appreciate any clarification on how we can set RF power level
for the WL1271L device.
