Hello all,

I have a custom board with MSP4305438a and CC3000. I have used the basic wifi application provided by TI. After changing the necessary port pins, I am not able to get CC3000 working.

Can somebody please help me in providing some steps to change the MSP430EXP5438a code. It would be great if you could list the changes that has to be done to get the 3000 communicating.

I am pretty new to MCUs and I am working with MSP430F5438A and CC3000. I also have some trouble.

What do you mean with "changing necessary port pins"? Is it necessary for getting the CC3000 working?

Hi,

If not done before, I suggest reviewing the following pages:

http://processors.wiki.ti.com/index.php/CC3000_Host_Programming_Guide (especially the SPI part)

http://processors.wiki.ti.com/index.php/CC3000_Host_Driver_Porting_Guide

If that still won't work you, we would need to get additional details of the problem you're facing, and probably a scope capture of the SPI lines.

hi,

have you solved your problem ? i am doing a project about the application of CC3000 on board MSP4305438a.

I find that the code online only supports the smartconfig function. I cant find the way to make it connect to my router.

If you know the way, could you tell me ? Thank you very much for helping.
