What is the difference between CC3000MOD and XCC3000MOD, CC3000-TIWI-SL from LS Research and CC3000-TYPEVK from Murata.

There should be no functional difference between the modules. The XCC3000MOD, is just a pre-release marked version. That shouldn't matter though.

Hi Aaron,
Can you verify that CC3000 & CC3000MOD are not EOL. One of my clients said they read that the CC3000 was being replaced by CC3001/2 and that CC3000 wasn't recommended for new applications. I haven't seen anything myself, but I figure I should follow up.

No, we will continue to ship CC3000 and CC3000MOD to customers including those that are already in Production.
Yes, we do plan to release later in September CC3100 and CC3200 based Modules.
