What is the difference between CC3000MOD and XCC3000MOD, CC3000-TIWI-SL from LS Research and CC3000-TYPEVK from Murata.

Hi there,

There should be no functional difference between the modules. The XCC3000MOD, is just a pre-release marked version. That shouldn't matter though.

Hi Aaron,

Can you verify that CC3000 & CC3000MOD are not EOL. One of my clients said they read that the CC3000 was being replaced by CC3001/2 and that CC3000 wasn't recommended for new applications. I haven't seen anything myself, but I figure I should follow up.

Does that mean the CC3000 is nearing (or at) EOL?

Is PN CC3000MOD still going to be available since it is based on the CC3000?

Is there a new module planned based on the CC3001/3002?

Wally,

No, we will continue to ship CC3000 and CC3000MOD to customers including those that are already in Production.

Yes, we do plan to release later in September CC3100 and CC3200 based Modules.
