I recently got the CC3000 boosterpack to use with my Tiva Launchpad, and I noticed something strange when uploading the cc3000_basic_wifi_application and using the smartconfig command. If I left my network as open, everything worked as expected. However, if I used WPA2 protection on my network and try smart config, I'll get the smartconfig done message, but then get a "Received Unsolicited Disconnect from CC3000" message every 20 seconds or so after that. If I unplug the board, plug it back in, and don't do anything, the message will still come up every 20 seconds. Issuing the disconnect command doesn't stop the message from popping up, and so far, the only thing I've seen that will stop the message from continuously popping up is issuing the "resetcc3000" command. Am I doing something wrong or is there anything I'm missing? What exactly does this message mean?
