I'm now using CC3000 booster pack based on MSP-EXP430G2LaunchPad

I tried to directly connect cc3000 with AP, but cc3000 sent back the data with all 0x02(by function SpiReadHeader)

could somebody help me,thx

Hi Sensen,

At what stage is CC3000 returning 0x02? Is the SPI configuration failing during the first write inside SimpleLink_Init_Start?

Or is it only the connection that is failing for you? If yes, then what method are you using for WLAN connection(Manual or SmartConfig)?. Please provide further details.

i have tried the official binary "Download Basic WiFi Binary", and succeed in connection with command '02', but the smart config( command 01) is still unusable.

i set the AP's SSID=tengda, no encyption, no password, and i dont know what does 'device name ' mean...could the default CC3000 OK?

Hi Sensen,

The device name looks fine. That is the default device name.
