CC3000 DHCP no IP (no connection to AP) and wlan_add_profile hangs

With latest SP 1.28 on my CC3000 I am no longer able to connect to our AP (WPA-2). We are using connection policies(0,1,1). With SP1.10 the problem occured once and a while but restarting the AP always helped. Connection to my Andoid phone WLAN-Hotspot always works fine.

It was always a problem to configure the wifi profiles with wlan_add_profile(). Often hangs.

I hoped to have solved this problem by updating to SP1.28. Now I have to investigate further.

In the search of a solution I found the CC3000 Logger: http://processors.wiki.ti.com/index.php/CC3000_Logger

I am confused now because the datasheet defines WL_RS232_TX and WL_RS232_RX while the aformentioned page talks about NS_UART_DBG and WL_UART_DBG or UART_DBG. This does not fit together. Where can I get information about this log and does someone has experience with these logs?
