CC3000 initial Configuration problem

I have MSP430FR5739 development board and WI-FI CC3000EM .I have downloaded patch programmer 1.12 pack and SDK 1.12 pack from TI. I have followed all steps given in sample email demo PDF.

*1 Click Start-> All Programs -> CC3000 PatchProgrammer ->MSP430FR5739 ->Download Driver Patches

*2 Click Start-> All Programs -> CC3000 PatchProgrammer ->MSP430FR5739 ->Download Firmware Patches

After this LED1 and LED6 should glow but nothing is happening .Tried with test mode and user mode(CC3000EM) and even i have tried with latest patch programmer 1.14.16.32+ SDK 1.14 no use.

Hi,

LED1 and LED6 are to indicate connection using SmartConfig.

- Are you not able to conncet using SmartConfig?
- Is your smartConfig process failing, or are you facing problems in connection after smartConfig?

Please give more details about the problem, and where you are stuck.

Yes, i am facing problem in SmartConfig itself. I don't know what is exact problem. But i have follow the procedure in the wiki http://processors.wiki.ti.com/index.php/CC3000_First_Time_Configuration.

I have used Iphone for Configuration. I used security WPA2. so i used the same procedure as above link. But it is not

discovering CC3000EM. In the Ipod, it is displaying "Not found any Device". Is i am following correct instruction.

It will be helpful if you instruct me to continue in right path.

I Followed one more procedure in the given Link http://processors.wiki.ti.com/index.php/CC3000_SmartConfig_Getting_Started

. I have downloaded the Patch Programmer and installed in my PC. In the Step 4 of above Link, it is mentioned that, LED5 and LED 8 will turn on upon successful completion. But this is not turning On. Is this Problem with Patch Programmer.

In this link step 4
In order to burn the patches using executable binary follow these instructions:
Open Start -> All Programs -> Texas Instruments -> CC3000 Patch Programmer -> Download CC3000 Driver Patch Programmer
LED5 and LED8 will turn on upon successful completion. But this is not happening . Both LED'S are not turning ON. There i have stuck.

Hi,

Have you waited long enough (say 10 seconds) to check the LED state? If you stop before that, the patch update will fail.
What is the failure that you are seeing on the screen? Can you please post the logs?

Also, please try smartConfig without updating patches in between. Smart config should work with version 1.11 also.

I have waited for 1 minute, but LED is not changing the state. I didn't got any failure while updating the patch. Every thing is displaying successfully. But LED's are not turning On. Earlier i suspect that, LED's are not working. But i build standalone application to blink LED. It is working fine. The Link which i have mentioned in above post is the correct to step to follow or any other thing need to be done before that?.
