CC3000 MSP430G2 support?

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: MSP430G2553, ENERGIA

I am trying to get an older CC3000 and MSP430G2553 launchpad going for a quick project. I'm using CCS 6.1 eval and I have CCS5.5.

CC3000 SDK 1.14 only supports FR3739. I couldn't find a G2 1.14 port and I saw a post saying that the G2553 doesn't have enough memory to update the CC3000.

So I thought I could use SDK 1.12, but every TI link for 1.12 is broken including the archives.

How are we supposed to use TI hardware when the software support disappears?

Instead of feature chasing Arduino with yet another IDE(Energia), how about maintaining the basic SDKs?
