Need source code for Android app of wifi hardware

Hi everyone,

I am very new to this forum.I am working on home automation application,i need sample android application with source code.I tried downloading the source code available in TI website(http://processors.wiki.ti.com/index.php/CC3000_Wi-Fi_Downloads) but unfortunately its not opening in either CCS or IAR.

Need everyone's support

That link is for the CC3000 and not the CC3100/CC3200, also you likely downloaded the Android App source code for SimpleLink...which means you need an IDE for developing Android Apps...CCS and IAR are for Embedded programming on for example a LaunchPad.

Hi,

thanks for your response,I had downloaded the source code of android app from the link (http://www.ti.com/tool/wifistarter) and I tried importing the project in CCS 6.0.1.Then while importing I am getting an error ("Error:Import failed for project 'SmartConfig' because it's meta data cannot be interpreted.Please contact support").

Im struck there,so need support

Hi Raj,

Sorry for the late response.

The Android source code project can be opened with Android ADT or Android Studio. Please refer to the Android Developer page for instruction. CCS is only used for Embedded systems, such as CC31xx/CC32xx.
