Low level debugging CC3100

Hi,

Is there any possibility to low level debug the CC3100? We have some problems getting our own HW running. After set the HiB PIN no Interrupt is received from the CC3100.
Now we have the same problem on a (previously working) CC3100 Booster Pack. We don't receive a interrupt.

How can we check if the CC3100 is running? In the datasheet there are some Test PIN defined, does someone has any information about them?

In the meantime we are able to get the booster pack working again. There was some connection issue.

But we are still unable to communicate with the CC3100 on our Hardware. We have checked the schematics and PCB for more than 10 times but no luck. Somewhere must be something wrong.

Any information about low level debugging would be helpful.

Hi David,

Low level debugging of the CC3100 is not accessible to customers.

The CC3100 is a straightforward device – once powered on and nIHB is set an IRQ will be generated.

In the issue you are describing it seems like the entire CC3100 is not powered up correctly and HW must be examine first.

I think you should look carefully on the supply inputs following the BP schematics.

If you can share with us your schematics (the CC3100 part of it) we might be able to identify something.
