Until now I only experimented with small apps when only the board connected to my laptop, so without using WiFi. Now I want to use the Wifi capabilities of the board for sending data. A simple question: connecting the CC3200 to my WiFi gateway should I do this in the CC3200 web page by creating a profile (setting the SSID, security type, key?

Hi Guy,

There are already example programs that send or receive data. Have you check those example programs?

No i haven't. My app is ready it does communication with an MQTT broker. The only thing i'm missing is 'connecting' the CC3200 to my WiFi Access Point.

I enter the info for my Wireless Access Point in the profile settings (Add a profile) on the mysimplelinkxxx webpage. But the profile of my access point everytime disappears (is removed)?

Hi Guy,

At some examples for CC3200 Launchpad, I only change these below at the main.c file and I am already able to connect to my wifi router(access point). This has been mentioned at the Getting Started Guide.

SSID_NAME, SECURITY_TYPE, SECURITY_KEY

We have several provisioning options, our AP\HTTP server is indeed one of them which is probably the most commonly used.

Did you flash the SDK Service Pack Update 1.0.0.1 to the board?

Yes I flashed the latest service pack.

I have my CC3200 connected using the iPhone TI SimpleLink app.

Hi Alon,

As mentioned I used the iPhone SimpleLink app. As I can see this just updates the data on the CC3200; in fact the same result as just doing the provisioning using the CC3200 connected to its internal AP and webpage 192.168.1.1 (jumper VCC - P58 short-circuited)?
