Removing default html pages from CC3100

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: CC3100, UNIFLASH

Hello all,

Please help me to remove default html pages from CC3100, i.e. if I configure CC3100 in AP mode and I connect my and laptop to it and browse 192.168.1.1 then I dont want to see those default pages.

Thanks

  • It depends on which default html pages you wish to remove. If you are talking about the ones available from main.html, I do not believe you can remove these as they are internal within the firmware. I have not tested, but you could try placing your own main.html file that loads nothing on the serial flash and see whether this stops the page loading...if this works, then do this for all the other internal html pages, such as status.html, ip_config.html etc. (you can see which ones, by viewing the source of main.html)

If you are talking about the ones that comes with the out_of_box or other examples, then the easiest way is to format the serial flash. Otherwise you can delete each individually by using UniFlash and selecting the delete option for each html file you want removed. Each example has a .ucf file to help you accomplish this. Open this file in UniFlash and then select all the files you want deleted and select the delete option.

    Glenn.
