Interfacing SD with TI CC3200 Launchpad

Hey guys,

I am trying to interface an SD card with the Launchpad, however, when I run the sdhost example provided in the SDK and check the terminal, it gives the error "failed to initialize the card. See if the card is properly inserted."

I have tried: https://www.sparkfun.com/products/12941

As well as this: http://www.adafruit.com/products/254

I tried using the pinout from the datasheet as well as the pinout from the example doc file "CC32xx SDHost.pdf"

Use the pinout from the example doc file and lower the card clock from 15 to 8 MHz, this worked for me.

    MAP_SDHostSetExpClk(SDHOST_BASE,MAP_PRCMPeripheralClockGet(PRCM_SDHOST),8000000);

Hello,
