Hi Xiang,
I have learnt from the CC3200 developer community that the MP3 decoder was successfully implemented. There is sufficient MIPS and memory available in CC3200 to realize this.
Best regards,
Naveen
There will be an Audio BoosterPack coming out soon, which should help you with some of what you require. You can already check out the code for this in the SDK - http://processors.wiki.ti.com/index.php/CC32xx_Wifi_Audio_Application

Hi Naveen Narayanan,
Can I know the MP3 decoder was successfully implemented is by MP3 chipset or by software decode?
If by software decode can you post the link that I can learn from them.

Hi Glenn,
I have the audio boosterpacks and am curious about adding MP3 support for this platform. I noticed the MP3 support before on the previous audio codec evaluation board but it was locked down due to licensing.
With proper licensing, I assume we should be able to get MP3 support for the cc3200/audio boosterpack combination. Any advice on this?
Thanks,
Markus
