How can I test the CC3200 UDP client running on the Launchpad? I would like to see the data show up on a server
Seth,
You can run 'IPerf' (as UDP server) on your Windows-PC to test the application - 'http://processors.wiki.ti.com/index.php/CC32xx_UDP_Socket_Application' has detailed instructions.

I'm running iPerf - iperf -s (server) it says it's listening on port 5001, so I put that port num into my code along with the ip address (static) of my wifi card in my PC and then I set my PC up as a wireless access point with the SSID "test" which I also hard coded into my code but it won't connect, am I doing something wrong?
Hi Seth,
For all IPERF options write iperf -help
In order to use IPERF as a UDP server you need to add -u.
A full command will look like: iperf -s -u -i1 -p5001
