Not able to connect to target - CC3200 LP

Hello,

I just got a new CC3200 LP Kit. I have followed all the instructions carefully as per start guide, quick guide, programmers guide and many more docs and forums. When i try to debug WLAN example, am getting below error:

Cortex_M4_0: GEL Output:
Memory Map Initialization Complete
Cortex_M4_0: Error connecting to the target

Note: I could see correct devices in device manager and all jumper settings are fine as per docs.

Do you have a terminal connected, like PuTTY for example? This can block your connection....you need to shut it down and start it once the application has loaded.

Hi Glenn,

I have followed all possible ways but no luck. One clue is, when i try to import CC3200.ccxml file, there is a red cross on it. SO far i have tried re installing CCS 4 times, i am afraid i cant move any further.

Hi Raghu,

Can you please try to format the device using Uniflash (Set 1 MB Size, Secure and Alert option left unchecked)?

Hi Raghavendra,

Actually, my problem got resolved. Looks like the issue was for the port selection instead of 'JTAG', i had selected SWD in the target configuration i have created.
