Unless I'm misunderstanding something, the year 2038 bug described in ID MCS00131563 will cause every CC3200 that uses SSL to stop working when the bug goes into effect. SSL needs the correct time, and after 2038 it looks like it will be impossible to set the time.
The Impact in ID MCS00131563 seems to severely understate the problem. We've got a lot of time and money invested in coding for the CC3200. We don't want to lose that investment, but we cannot put products in the field which are guaranteed to fail in 18 years.
TI, please tell us when this bug will be fixed.
