New Linux Uniflash release 3.3.0.00067 is now available

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: UNIFLASH

Dear Uniflash users,

New Linux Uniflash version for SimpleLinkTM CC31xx/CC32xxTM is now available for use for the 1st time. This version is a non-production beta version, and is only intended for development purposes.

The new version 3.3.0.00067 should be soon available on http://www.ti.com/tool/uniflash. Meanwhile, 3.3.0.00067 can be downloaded from the following WiKi page: http://processors.wiki.ti.com/index.php/Category:CCS_UniFlash#Download_the_Latest_UniFlash_Web_Installer

The Linux version is aligned with the latest Windows version, 3.3.0.00058.

Please note that the Linux version has some limitations compared to the Windows version:

  • No automatic reset of the connected target is supported
  • Using 'Verify' option (for files or image) results in much slower content reading than the Windows version
  • It has been observed occasionally that communication with the target device is halted. It mainly happens during large content reading (i.e. with 'Verify' flag checked)

For further reading please refer to Uniflash User Guide. It can be found in the following link:

Good luck
