CC-DEVPACK-DEBUG: Cannot update firmware

Hi all,

I'm trying to create my own firmware for CC2650STK via CCS and the online guide says that I should download the project to my sensortag after building it. I've connected my CC-DEVPACK-DEBUG, but when I select run->debug I get asked to update the CC-DEVPACK-DEBUG firmware and the update fails. I've then tried to do the update manually, via command window, but when I enter:

xdsdfu.exe -m

the module disappears from my device manager list and is no longer recognized, no matter how long I wait. I tried installing the latest XDS Emulation Software Package, but that didn't help.

Anyone has any idea what could be a fix to this?

If you install Flash Programmer 2 and connect CC-DEVPACK-DEBUGGER, can Flash Programmer recognize it?

Flash Programmer 2 does indeed recognize my module.

If you try to use Flash Programmer 2 to download prebuilt hex into your CC2650STK, does it work?

That does work. What I can't do is "download" it into the board through CCS. But then, if I just build it in CCS and upload via Flash Programmer 2 I get red light on my board and the thing doesn't work for some reason. I'm using CCS7

Do you select "Texas Instruments XDS110 USB Debug Proble/Cortex_M3_0" in Project Properties of CCS?
