Hi all,

I am going to use CC2640R2F with CC2590 to extend the range. Can I connect RF_N port of CC2640R2F to RF_P port of CC2590, and connect RF_P port of CC2640R2F to RF_N port of CC2590?

    Hi Heinrich,

    The N and P ports on both devices are interchangeable, connect them such that the RF traces do not have to cross each other.

    For the CC2590 layout you need to follow the CC2541-CC2590EM reference design very closely. This includes layout of power traces and decoupling components.

    Between the CC2640R2F and the CC2590 you only need a place holder for a single shunt component between RF-P and RF-N. No other components are required.
