RI-TRP-DR2B-30 versus RI-TRP-DR2B-40

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: RI-TRP-DR2B

Hi

I did received a batch of sample #RI-TRP-DR2B-40 in Dec 2014. See below picture.

We supplied those pills to customers for qualification.  Are those representative of the new production at this point or have there been additional changes to manufacturing location or anything else?

I need to know if the pills we already supplied can be used for some level of qualification data.

Could you confirm the current appearance of pill RI-TRP-DR2B-40? Whole black or same like RI-TRP-DR2B-30?

We are looking for latest data sheet of RI-TRP-DR2B-40, can we refer to RI-TRP-DR2B revision August 2014? or you have another latest one?

  • Hi Wendy,

Yes the appearance of the -40 is the same as the new pill you received, all black.

The pill you received as a sample in Dec 2014 is the same as the one that will ship soon.
  • Hi Ralph,

    1) Besides changed of the sub-con, what else changed on -30 VS -40? Materials? Therefore the having different appearance?
    2) Any changes between the sample released Dec 2014 and the one will ship soon?
This information is important for us to consider necessary to re-submit sample to those customer who had qualified sample Dec 2014.
    3) We had wide profile of customers, I had request 750ea x 2 batches sample piece through distributor but they are not able to get in prior to -40 launch. Could you help to get more sample pieces for me? If not, pls advice which channel that I shall approach.

  • Hi Wendy,

As I mentioned above, there are no changes from the sample received in Dec 2014 and the one which will ship soon.

For samples, you will need to contact your local TI sales representative and/or distributor. I cannot help with samples at all.

The different appearance comes from a change to a solid black silicone filler, that's all.
