TRF7960A: RFID EU Compliance

We do not offer any certifications for our devices, they must be certified by you independently. That is a system and application specific aspect.

We do try and certify at least one reference design to provide you a known good reference design to follow which has passed certification. This is ongoing currently for the new EU standards.

As far as design documents, we don't have a specific document only for certification testing but following recommended schematic as well as using our layout guidelines: www.ti.com/.../sloa139a.pdf would give you high chance of success on first try if all is done right. Of course, that is pending our reference design passes which we should find out for certain in the coming weeks.

The schematic being tested is the TIDM_NFC_RW_DLP7970ABP_SCHEMATIC.pdf found in this zip file: http://www.ti.com/lit/zip/tidrjd2 This schematic includes extra features such as ULP Wake Circuitry.

In the tidrjjd2 zip, there is also a TIDM_NFC_RW_TRF79x0ATB_SCHEMATIC(2).pdf which can be used as a reference for what components are really required. The only reason that design is not being tested is due to the EM header aren't compatible with new LaunchPads that we use for code development.
