Hello,

This might be very basic to the majority. But I have no relevant background. I am programming to read an NFC enabled device and then send the data periodically. I am done with the sending dummy data periodically. However, I can not find how to interface the reader with the controller.

Also, what is the best place to house the code for NFC reading and data processing before sending?

Some sort of How-To or Getting Started would be appreciated.

Hello,
Not at all, As mentioned the documentation for BLE helped me got to the point where everything related to BLE is working. The other Mentioned things I could not find a starting point. Sorry for posting it in this forum. But the drop down was showing this one and there were no other forums being shown and I could not remove it. Hence posted in an irrelevant forum maybe because of the selected chipboard.

I am interfacing an nfc chip from solutuons-cubed the model number is BM019.

Hello Babar,

I see. It looks like that does not use any TI NFC products. What is the issue you are facing? Are you trying to establish SPI or UART communication between it and the CC2640R2, or do you have communication with the BM019 working and you are needing help with only how to use the NFC functionality of it?

Hello,

As I mentioned I am new to this, I just want to be able to read data using this particular NFC reader, hence I am looking for basic how to on how this chipset works with other hardware connected to it.

Hello Babar,

As that chipset does not use any TI parts, we cannot help support that. You should reach out to the manufacturer to find out what support is available for that chipset.

Thanks for the information.

I am going to modify a question a bit so it becomes clearer. I Have a BLE application up and running, And currently, it notifies me with some dummy data per defined clock tick.

What I need to do is to use SPI to read data from a sensor and sent it over the air.

I used the examples Used in SPI.h but getting tons of errors. Is it an acceptable practice to read through the SPI peripheral in the Profile class (as it is not time critical) and configuration wise seems the simplest.

Is there any working example that I can reference.

you should refer back to the CC2640R2F documents and Forum, plus reference the

as Ralph mentioned, you are not using any TI NFC products, therefore the correct Forum was the one you originally posted in.
