RF430FRL152HEVM: Using NFC to write to memory through an external android application

SO I am working with a board that is imitating the RF430FRL152HEVM except it has some custom sensors as well as some minor circuit changes. I am getting ADC) and ADC1 readings through an android app through NFC and everything has been working fine until this point. I have loaded "RF430FRL152H_NFC_Only_Simple_Project" onto the board which basically samples two ADC channels. The problems came when I tried to write to memory through the android app. I have been reading from the memory no problem, however when I try to write to memory through the android app I get errors. Any ideas on how I can acheive this through an external application? Are there any write permissions I have to enable? I also made sure that I'm using the right ISO commands, so in terms of this I dont think there is a problem.
