CC8530: Drop-outs of one slave when 4 connected to one master

Part Number: CC8530

For my appllication I need the max. capacity i.e. 4 slaves connected to a Master with 44,1k PCM bandwidth. In this setup I have got a problem with one pf the slaves losing connection with the master and then reconnecting after a dozen or few tens of seconds. I actually use a PPath binary generated with a possibly bit old version of PP-CFG, of over a year ago. Has such a problem been spotted by TI support in the meantime and there is a chance it has been corrected in the current PP Configurator ?
If not, since I can imagine this behaviour can possibly be due to varous reasons what kind of information should I collect to effectively diagnose this issue ?

Regards, Pawel

  • Hi Pawel,

I am not aware of this problem beeing reported earlier.

Can you describe your setup and surroundings a bit more? Distance between master and slave, custom Hw, building type, wi-fi nearbay etc
Is it always the same slave you are having problems with?
Which version of PurePath Wireless Configurator was used to build the binary?

    Regards,
    Reidar
