CC2420: Byte-oriented radio

Part Number: CC2420

Hello,

I have been looking for the radio that was used in the making of the MICAz motes primarily because I need to find a Byte-Oriented Radio chip (i.e. raises an interrupt after each byte received/transmitted).

After careful research I found out that CC2420 was used for the MICA2 however it is no longer supported.

My question is, do you still produce RF transceivers where the radio packet format is byte oriented? If yes, can you provide support for it?

If not, how can I use this byte interrupt functionality in the CC2420?

Thanks,

Asma
