When is High Frequency RC oscillator used?

Hi,

I am using the SmartRF06 with CC13xxEM-7xd (i.e. it has a 24MHz crystal oscillator)

Assuming I do not manually change the clock source to HF RCOSC, when the HF RCOSC actually used?

Here is what I understand:

1. Upon boot, the HF RCOSC is initially used to clock the cc13xx (until the clock source is switched to the HF XOSC).
2. For sleep modes STANDBY and SHUTDOWN, the clock source is switched to HF RC oscillator.

Are these the only conditions upon which the HF RCOSC is being used?

Thanks, Mark.
