Hi Support,

my customer is benchmarking programming SW tools to be used with XDS110 in order to program CC1310 in production.

They have found that there are more than one PC application dedicated for flashing with XDS110. They tried Uniflash (24s), DSLite (48s) and SmartRF Flash (10s) (gui and cmd line version) to program full flash of CC1310F128 with non-0xFF data.

You can see huge difference in time to do it in the brackets. I would like to ask you for help with optimal setup of DSLite tool for faster flashing. SmartRF is good enough but it can be used only for RF processors such as CC1310. They would like to use one SW for all TI chips in ideal case. The DSLite seems to be the one but it is very very slow.

You can see in enclosure our settings and the bin file to flash.

The tools group has done some work with the libraries for Uniflash and got a x2.75 speed improvement. From the ticket it could look like this will be in CCS 7.2

considering customer prefer using DSLite, please let me know if optimizations can be set on this SW.

I have to check with tools. Are they starting productions now or would they have time to wait for a new software release?

I believe the release with the improvements should be out within ~ 2 weeks.

Uniflash is built in a way that makes it difficult to provide a patch to an existing version, they have to wait for the official version.

thanks for your information. The command line tool is needed for customer job. Uniflash as a GUI software is not usable. It will be great if new DSLite version can work faster than today's one.
I and customer are looking forward to it.
Please update me as soon as new version is available.
