Linux/LAUNCHXL-CC1310: 15.4 Stack Install

Howdy,

I am trying to install the 15.4 stack software on my Ubuntu machine in order to demonstrate project 0 for BBB with a 1310 coprocessor with tags but cannot get the file to run like stated in the documents. I need some help here. I have attached a screenshot of where i am stuck.

i am running 16.04. I also tried to do this on the beaglebone but ended up with the same results.

Is it 64 bit version?

I was able to run the "ti15.4stack_linux_x64_2_03_00_06.run" installer by following "Task 3".

Have you tried running the command with sudo?

sudo ./ti15.4stack_linux_x64_2_03_00_06.run

How do you download ti15.4stack_linux_x64_2_03_00_06.run? Do you download it from browser in Ubuntu?

Yes i did. i downloaded both on Ubuntu directly and the BBB linux software directly.

Can you issue "lsb_release -a" on Ubuntu terminal and show me the results?

The only difference is that my Ubuntu is 16.04.02 LTS.

The thing i dont understand is that it wont work on Ubuntu or the linux software that i downloaded from ti for the BBB

Can you please try to download the "TI 15.4 Stack Linux Gateway SDK" again from http://www.ti.com/tool/ti-15.4-stack-gateway-linux-sdk and follow the same steps as before. This is just to make sure you have the latest version.
