hello,

i'm building an application which is a simple e-lock that just takes an on/off command, and the protocol i want to use to communicate is 6lowpan, so what do you suggest that will help me in that?

Please don't start a new thread when you have asked the same question in a different thread.

What functionality do you want? Just send a 'on' message to the lock or do you want to get an ack back? For the first, look at the rfPacketRx/ Tx examples in the SDK. For the second, see the RfechoRx/ Tx examples. Also look into the Easylink examples.

YK: For a elock application, why do you recommend a mesh network? I would assume that a point to point would fit the application better?

I suggest him to use TI 15.4 Stack but he wants 6LowPAN.

i want to use 6lowpan because i'm building three iot applications with two different protocols and then connect them to the gateway.

You have to be aware that Contiki 6LowPAN is an open source project and it will take you lots of efforts to use it on a real product.

I suggest you to use TI 15.4 Stack from beginning.
