CC2533 low volage under 2.3V can not worl noraml

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: CC2533

We made a RF4CE 2.0 RC base on CC2533F96 chip solution , throught the data sheet we see the chip work votage rang from 2.0V~3.9V.

But we find that the CC2533 RC can not  work under 2.3V voltage. This is SW issue or HW issue?

Is there some sultion for this issue?

  • What type of debugging have you done with VDD in the range of 2.0 V to 2.3 V that makes you say that it does not work? Have you tried to connect the chip to a CCDebugger and using SmartRF Studio to control it to remove the software component?
  • We did below test
    1) use battery which voltage is 2.1V to power on the CC2533 RC we made and, and it cannot work nomal , the RC's led keep low light and press key with no response
    2) use the Adjustable DC power supply to the RC ,when the power votage is under 2.3 V, the same as above 1)
  • It's not clear from your posts exactly which software and hardware you are using.

As I understand it we have set a software BOD in some of the software we provide that prevent flash access if the voltage is too low. Have you checked if this threshold is set in the software you are using?
