Hi,

Need following details on CC3100MODULE.

1. The CC3100 Module test reports are as per 1.8.1 version and do you have test report of the same for 1.9.1?

2. is it possible to share Test code which is used for 1.8.1 certification testing.

3. Since, this module does not have built in antenna, please, share antenna signal routing guide lines document which is required by certification agency to compare the same with our design.

4. Please confirm, is the CC3100MODULE is RoHS complaint? In CC3100MODULE datasheet it is written has RoHS exempt - Please, share document confirming the same.

Hi,

The CC3100 Module test reports are as per 1.8.1 version and it is going to expire in December 2016.

Please, let us know the availability of V1.9.1 Test Reports?
Without v1.9.1 Test Reports we cannot go for our product certification.

Hi Harish,

I think you statement about expiring of December 2016 is not that true.

Reason for new test reports is new EU 2014/53/EU directive (RED). All devices will need comply this directive after 13 June 2017. But if you not want waste money, not make sense to certificate device according old R&TTE (1999/5/EC) in present time.

Conclusion: It is almost late to provided test reports from TI side, according new RED directive to C3x00MOD device. Because customers need time to certification new product and recertification of current products based on CC3x00MOD.
