I need help finding a solution to why the code will not build in the solution for the Getting Started with Station example. I get a Microsoft Visual Studio error stating that the getting_started.exe file cannot be found. I'm using the SimpleLink WiFi CC3100 with the CC3100 SDK_1.2.0

Did you follow the guide below as is? I followed the guide below and it worked.

Hello Markel,

I ended up getting the guide to work once I opened it in Visual Studio 2013. But then I was running into a problem where my device can't connect to the LAN at work. I get a -2000 error code. But than I connected my device to my phone's WiFi hotspot and it worked, and it was able to ping www.ti.com. I'm not sure what causes the device to not be able to connect to LAN through my work's WiFi.

Hi Chase,

Ask your IT people at work what is specific to your work AP that is causing your CC3100 not to connect to it.
