CC3200: Questions about disconnect mode and sl_Recv function

Hi All,

 

I have several questions related to the disconnect mode and sl_Recv function.

 

  • When apply sl_Recv function under disconnect mode, can this be considered as Receiving Mode?

  • What are those specific configurations of NWP module so that it can work as follows,

 

    Network active listen mode 

    Special power optimized active mode for receiving beacon frames (no other frames supported)    

 

Now, I am trying to apply sl_Recv function under disconnect mode. Though it did not access NWP module any more, the current was still staying at 70mA, and NWP module did not switch to the automated low power states.

 

Is that possible to let NWP module reach the Network Active Listen Mode through certain configurations so that the power consumption can be reduced?

 

Or, how to let NWP only capture the beacon frames rather than the whole?
