CC3200STK-WIFIMK: Can't upgrade using OAT

I can get data from the device, I can reset the device, but when I attempt an OAT upgrade to 1.003 Feb 22 2017 10:55:45 I'm met with a

OAT error -15

0 0 0

OAT err 0

error display on the watch module.

what am I doing wrong?

Hi Simon,

Is your current firmware version v0.98a?

Please make sure your batteries are new and the device you are connecting to the SensorTag from is staying connected to the AP created by the device.

current firmware is 0.98a

batteries measure 2.9v

tried it on bench PSU set at 3.1v.

Same result.

When I try again I get

OAT run

and 15 seconds later the same error message.

I have tried using the android update both from a phone and tablet.

Sorted now.In the end I had to use my sons iPhone. All of the android devices I tried failed with the same error.

I'm disappointed that the upgrade can only be done via OAT.

Hi Simon,

I'm glad you were able to get it updated. I'm sorry that you feel that way. The Wi-Fi SensorTag is not intended to be a development platform.
