Hello All,

We Have Developed Application with CC3200.

It is working properly in India and canada.It is creating AP and Connection to Router is done

But when same Module tried at Moscow, AP is Created but when Person tried to to connect with password (password of Wi fi Module CC3200, not of Router) it is giving incorrect password.

at the time of uniflash, i am asked about US/EU/JP. Channel is 6 by default.

What all this indicate?what channel indicate?

Can i do configuration for universal??like it should work in all region.

    What device is trying to connect to the CC3200? mobile phone (which)? PC? does it happen with all kind of devices?

    We don't support world wide regulatory domain - you can set it to either US, EU or JP and i guess Russia fits in the EU standard.
    Saying that, this scenario and especially the use of channel 6 for the Access Point means that the problem is not with the regulatory domain (anyway Russia supports channels 1-13).

    I understand that the connecting device is able to see CC3200 Network (when scanning for wireless networks) and fails only when it connects to it. Please let me know if otherwise.

    The only thing I can think of is that the password string is sent with a non-standard format (It should be a ascii array with a null terminated character), but this is a standard wifi requirement.

    What is the error received on the connecting device? Can you provide air sniffer logs of the connection attempt?

    Thank you so much for your Reply.

    Yes, we have configured it in US domain.so may be Russia is not supporting.

    Problem :

    At Russia, Network of CC3200 is shown , but when anyone try to connect with it via Mobile/PC/or any device, it shows wrong password every time eventhough we are entering same password as we are entering in US or India.

    Same module is working fine at US and India.

    Is there any solution, through which CC3200 can have support world wide????

    Also, it will be best if you can list down all Countries covered under all three region(US,EU,JP).

    which countries covered under US? which are under JP and which are for EU?

    Hi,

    Generally:

    US - USA, CANADA, DOMINICAN REPUBLIC, GUATEMALA, MEXICO, PANAMA, PUERTO RICO (=North America)
    JP - Japan
    EU - rest of world
