CC2650: NO RTOS device drivers for CC2650

I am just starting coding with CC2650. I find most of the reference codes and guides assuming the use of TI-RTOS(or other RTOS in few cases). I am willing to find simple device drivers understand them and write my code in upper layer. Can anyone mention resources which does not use RTOS. For beginning in device drivers I think that UART will be perfect. Thank you for patient reading

That does not exist, the only device that we support non-RTOS in this series of device is called the CC1310 and CC1350 family. If you navigate to your CCS resource explore (online version) and then SimpleLink CC13x0 SDK v1.40.00.10 there you will find a CC1310 LaunchPAD directory under Development tools and look for "uartecho" and then No-RTOS. This will give you a non-RTOS example for the CC1310.

Hi Onkar,

I suggest you download BLE Stack 2.2.1 and import to CCS the non-RTOS example programs. But, if you are going to use CC2650 as BLE device, TI-RTOS is needed. Go through the Simplelink Academy for some guidance. Also, this post is much more appropriate at the TI BLE Forum.

But can we not use CC13x0 SDK 1.40 for the driver porting layer as the drivers seem compatible with each other?
