Now, I use HTTP client project for development and make finish already.

But I have problem about device configuration.

I need to set SSID name and Password of WiFi but I tried to mix between HTTP client and HTTP server then it cannot use.

I have concept follow picture as below

Please suggest me?

Hi,

AP and STA mode simultaneously is not supported by CC3200. But you can configure your CC3200 when is in STA mode and connected to infrastructure access point. In this case you need connect your laptop into same WiFi network as your CC3200 and go to CC3200 webpage.
If you have some external button on your hardware, you can switch between STA and AP mode (like a OOB example). AP mode will be used device configuration.

Hi Rattp,

Are you trying to use the CC3200 as both a Station and AP simultaneously? Please note these two modes cannot be used simultaneously.

Possible or not? If I will switch mode by software or Timer counter.
Because sometime, I need to used config mode for setting SSID name and password.
I should use what example in SDK for development?

Hi,

Question is how often do you want switch between STA and AP mode. Each mode change requires write into sFlash and sFlash have limited number of write cycles.

I want to send ๅdata to the server after that , switch to AP mode.
Then switch again when the timer counter is complete.

Hi,

If I understand correctly that you want switch mode in 5 min cycle (at least write cycles into sFlash 24/hour -> 576/day -> 210240/year).

For example CC3200 LaunchPad use flash memory W25Q80BL. This memory have guaranteed 100,000 erase/program cycles. In your case will be guaranteed write cycles achieved after 1/2 year. Decision if this is enough for your application is up to you.

Possible or not? If I don't flash memory W25Q80BL and only alternate mode. but if user confirm to flash from device configuration in AP mode.

Every changing mode /usage of API sl_WlanSetMode()/ between AP/STA writes into sFLash.
