CCS/CC3220SF-LAUNCHXL: I made a demo of the demo board according to the official cc3220sf-launchxl principle, and there was a problem when downloading the program.

Part Number: CC3220SF-LAUNCHXL
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: UNIFLASH

Tool/software: Code Composer Studio

I made a demo of the demo board according to the official cc3220sf-launchxl principle, and there was a problem when downloading the program. The upper computer I used is uniflash4.1, the emulator is xds110 and SOP is set to 010.It can be connected, but when I click on the download, it disconnects immediately, as shown in the figure below

  • Hi Dong Lin,

My first suggestion would be to update to the latest Uniflash v4.2.1: www.ti.com/.../UNIFLASH

    1. Are you clicking Program Image (Create & Program) to load the demo code?
    2. Are you able to see the COM port in your device manager? You can try reinstalling the drivers.
    3. Be sure you are NOT using a USB hub and that you do not have any other programs holding the COM port (CCS debug, terminal emulator, etc.)
    4. What Rev LaunchPad do you have?

    Best regards,
    Sarah
  • Hi Sarah,

I've also tried to upgrade Uniflash to the latest version, but the same problem still happens.
1.I clicked Connect, which also connects to the device, but when I click Program Image (Create & Program), the device will disconnect and the
    Program will not be loaded.
    2.All com ports are normal.
    3.I hava a CC3220SF-LAUNCHXL.

    Best regards
    Dong Lin
  • Hi Dong Lin,

Did you try reinstalling the drivers? Which version of the LaunchPad are you using (Rev A or Rev B)? Are you able to debug using CCS?

What operating system are you using? (Windows 7, Mac, etc.)

    Best regards,
    Sarah
