WL1837MOD: New adaptivity requirement for 5GHz

Part Number: WL1837MOD
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: WL1837

Related to the new RED (Radio directive), there is an updated version of the standard for 5GHz, EN 301 893 V2.1.0 (2017-03), that is not yet harmonized. There is a new requirement on the adaptivity test, that the radio should be able to detect also LTE and OFDM signals (in addition to CW and AWGN signals). Are the radio circuit, WL1837GYFVR, able to do this? I would guess this depends on if the radio detects any energy on the specific frequency, or if it is sensitive to typ of modulation?
