Hi,

On my custom board, there is the wl1837 chip. First, I check the wifi. There is no problem with the wifi.

Secondly, I want to check the bluetooth fonction. I stop the wifi, I start the sample LinuxGATM_SRV

I follow your instructions

It’s works again, great !

Even if i start the wifi after LinuxGATM_SRV, it ‘s always OK

But if wifi is started before LinuxGATM_SRV, the sample doesn’t work :

DEVM_PowerOnDevice() Failure: -14, Unknown Error.
Function Error.

Though, if I use hcitool, it is OK :

You are using an old kernel with shared transport. We moved away from shared transport to simple 'hci_tty' driver. If, you are using BlutopiaPM, even that is not necessary. Can, you try removing shared transport and install newer BlutopiaPM release with configuration instructions given at :
processors.wiki.ti.com/.../TI_Bluetooth_Stack_for_WL18xx_-_Getting_Started_Guide

Thank you Hari for your answer.

I saw Shared Transport error in log, it confims.

Our project is up to date for BleutopiaPA and linux kernel (4.1 version but is it the last version provides by nxp)

I think to remove Shared Transport, I must use device tree. But our expert yocto/device tree is in holiday.

I will get back to you as soon as possible.

Hi,

As advocated, we deleted shared transport.

We updated BluetopiaPM in 4.2.

We changed linux kernel configuration by

CONFIG_TI_ST=n

CONFIG_BT_WILINK

we Added a new configuration file instead of device tree :

nshutdown_gpio=118

dev_name=/dev/ttymxc2

flow_cntrl=1

baud_rate=3000000

And it's work with sample LinuxGATM_SRV

command applied :

1 1
10 1
RegisterAuthentication
RegisterGATTCallback
StartAdvertising 0x37 30

only this advertising flag is working, but it's cool. BLE and Wifi work together.

But with custom soft, at DEVM_StartAdvertising() call we had this error :

Starting advertising error (-10032) : Response Message Timeout

I do not understand the reason

I suggest to take HCI logs to determine the difference between working Demo application and your app. This may tell you if there are any differences in the parameters passed and/or sequence of HCI messages..

Hi,

Between 4.0 and 4.2 stack version, a new parameter has been added in Avertising structure (DEVM_Advertising_Information_t). this parameter is Peer_BD_ADDR.
