Hi

I have exactly the same errors on Android6 and WL18xx, (I have adpted Lollipop modification) all works fine exceted entering  tethering in settup.

06-19 10:04:18.674   584   625 D wifi    : Can not initialize the vendor function pointer table
06-19 10:04:18.674   584   625 E WifiNative-HAL: Could not start hal
06-19 10:04:18.674   584   625 E WifiStateMachine: Failed to start HAL

Please can you explained me how you have solved it ?
