Hello everyone,

We have created a git repository where we will be uploading additional Z-Stack Sample Applications.

For the initial release, we have included some sample applications that demonstrate the usage of the IAS clusters. This post will be updated periodically when we push changes or upload new sample apps.

is it can be use for CC26xx too ?

like just grab this source code and put it in the CC26xx sample code like a new task ?

Those examples are for CC253X only.

Hi Tonny,

These examples were only developed for the CC2530/CC2538 platforms, but you could try to port the same functionality to the CC26xx platform. I would recommend starting with the 1.2.2a IAS samples provided, and try to port their functionality into the CC26xx SampleSwitch application.

Hi, thanks for making extra examples available! Are these only for Z-Stack 3? Or can they be used with the older versions, like Z-Stack Energy? (We need to use this older version for now, but plan to switch to Z-Stack 3 when possible)

Those examples are for Z-Stack 3.0 and Z-Stack Home 1.2.2a. Not for Z-Stack Energy.

As I know. Zigbee smart energy profile doesn't use those clusters. Why do you want those examples run on Z-Stack energy?

When I started with Z-Stack for the first time, I was very inexperienced with RTOS and profiles and C code. The Z-Stack Smart Energy framework and example code had the most detail, and therefore was the best with which to start my project back then, although I only needed a very small part of the Smart Energy profile specifically. So today, everything is built into this profile. With these new examples I was hoping to do a transfer to get away from Energy once & for all, but this will take some time. If these new examples had Energy, I thought I could maybe compromise to save a bit of time. But its going to be best to simply break away completely!

I see but it's pity that those examples are not for Z-Stack Smart Energy.

Yes a pity, but HA or even Mesh is going to be much better for my project, so I must just get on with it!

Yes, there are many improvements in latest Zibgee 3.0 so it's better to switch to it.
