Hello,

I am using Raspberry Pi to run z-stack linux gateway and cc2538-cc2592 emk as ZNP with USB interface with Raspberry Pi.

ZNP is receiving data from gateway but znp is not sending any data to gateway.

If you use ZTool to test CC2538-CC2592EM running USB-ZNP, does it work?

you can see in above picture , znp is responding when i connect it to z-tool

I know Z-Stack Linux Home GW can work with Z-Stack Home 1.2.2a ZNP but not sure if it can work with Z-Stack 3.0 ZNP. I suggest you to use Z-Stack Home 1.2.2a ZNP instead of Z-Stack 3.0 ZNP.

sorry i think i have installed z-stack 1.2.2a only for cc26xx there for m not able to find source code for cc2538 znp ..let me install for cc253x also and check.

i m trying to configure cc2538-cc2592 as znp for usb interface but not able to configure it...usb/cdc com port is not detect by pc .

The compiler option looks fine. When you download the ZNP to CC2538-CC2592EM and connect it to PC, do you see the virtual COM port is simulated?

Can you take a picture of your CC2538-CC2592EM and show me how you connect CC2538-CC2592EM to your PC?

YES the jumper is correct , also previously when I was using with znp build from z-stack 3.0.1 ,device was appearing on virtual com port.
I am facing this issue with znp build from z-stack 1.2.2a

I test the same settings on my CC2538-CC2592EM and everything works fine. I attach my ZNP.bin for your reference. By the way, what IAR version do you use?

You should use EWARM 7.40.2 to build examples in Z-Stack Home 1.2.2a.

when I select znp.bin file in flash programmer 2 , it requires THE FLASH ADDRESS of where to start the programming.

Can you attach hex file.

Since you are using ZNP-CC2538-SBL example, you have to build and download boot loader under C:\Texas Instruments\Z-Stack Home 1.2.2a.44539\Projects\zstack\Utilities\BootLoad\CC2538ZNP to your CC2538-CC2592EM first.

I have build bootloader and generated bin file for bootloader , and I have cc2538 znp bin file provided by you .
both the bin file have same start address -
should I download both one by one or download by selecting multiple option. or I need to change the start address.

I suggest you to use ZNP without SBL to test it.

sorry ,
I have downloaded znp without SBL and now it is simulating virtual com port.(its working ),
now I will check with raspberry pi.

But still the main issue is not resolved ...devices joins the network but does not appear on gateway application.

I am using -
sample light ZR(with cc2538-cc2592 em) example from z-stack 3.0.1
and
sample temperature sensor ZED(with cc2650 em) example from z-stack 1.2.2a
both the devices join the network but not apear on gateway application.

I suggest you to use CC2531 USB dongle running prebuilt ZNP to work with Z-Stack Linux Home GW instead of CC2538-CC2592 to verify this.

Finally got the solution to the problem,it was simple -
i just have to add "MT_NWK_FUNC" to preprocessor
i have done made this changes for z-stack 3.0.1 cc2538 znp example.
