Suitable charger for 5.6 Ah Li-ion battery, charge voltage 4.2V

Can anyone recommend a best choice for charging - 5.6 Ah Li-ion battery, charge voltage 4.2V?

I've found the BQ24166RGET so far, and also found availability problems with many charger ICs.

The circuit:

Compact, ideally less than 20 pins though the BQ24166RGET is very compact anyway
Battery voltage is 3.65V and charging voltage is 4.2V (+- 0.9%)
Higher maximum charge current than 2.5A if possible
Low internal leakage current
Supply uninterruptable by Battery or Charging supply
Input from battery thermistor not required
Output current from battery > 1A

Hi Chris,

Based on your original selection of BQ24166, I assume you need standalone charger, i.e. no host I2C reads/writes. If so, then I recommend looking at BQ25606 or BQ25616, both of which are 3A chargers.

Thank you Jeff F, a 3A output will be an improvement definitely. I'll compare those with other specs and stock levels
