LT1004-2.5: Min/ Max Input Voltage

Hi,

Good day.

Our customer wants to know the minimum input voltage and the maximum input voltage for LT1004-2.5 and LM336-5.0.

Can you please let us know if there's such value? Thank you.

    Hi Cedrick 

    LT1004 and LM336 are shunt references (Similar to Zener diode ). You need to force a minimum current for a regulation. 

    A voltage source with a series resistor full fill that requirement. You can tune your resistor value based the the supply voltage variation and min/max reverse current. 

    Min Current for LM336 is 600uA 

    Min current for LT1004-2.5 V is 20uA .
