Part Number: LP876242-Q1
Other Parts Discussed in Thread: LP8764-Q1, LP8762-Q1

HI,

Could you please provide us the ASIL compliance certification for Hera PMIC slave- LP876241B2RQKRQ1. We are using this in FIsker program

  • Hello Jahnavi,

We have Functional Safety Manual one of the other functional safety documentation which states the relevant standards and processes that TI has followed to develop the product and you can see the link to compliance reports in that document as well but that cannot be shared here since those documents are NDA. The documents can be accessed via this link if you have NDA with TI.

    Best regards,

    Ishtiaque Panhwar

  • HI Panhwar, We already have NDA signed with TI .  I need the ISO26262 certification document for thisICs. Kindly provide me with the link where i can get the document or the document itself

  • Hi Jahnavi,

Thanks for the information. I have provided the link in my previous reply. see the screen shot. Please get access to the FuSa documents via that link and in Functional Safety Manual you will get links to the certification. I cannot share here since those documents are not public documents.

    Regards,

    Ishtiaque Panhwar

  • Hi Panhwar

I am looking for the ASIL compliance certificate from external Assessor for the particular part number

    Hera PMIC slave- LP876241B2RQKRQ1

I couldnt find it in the secure folder . I want something like this .

  • HI Panhwar, I got the certification document from My secure resources "Safety Report for LP8764-Q1 / LP8762-Q1: certificate created by independent safety assessor". Is this applicable for the IC LP876241B2RQKRQ1? If applicable, One additional request . Is the Independent assessor of I3 level as expected per Part 2 Table 1 and is there any document that depicts that the independence? Could you share us that

  • Hello Jahnavi,

Is this applicable for the IC LP876241B2RQKRQ1?

Yes and you can find  "LP876241B2"  in that document at page 5 in chapter 1.

I am looking for the ASIL compliance certificate from external Assessor for the particular part number

We don’t have a TüV certificate for our PMICs. We only have the documents shared in the mySecure folder.

Per ISO26262 safety standard, it is not mandated to do a 3rd party certification on a semiconductor product. Instead of 3rd party assessment (by for instance TüV), we as TI have our own independent assessor who is nominated according the criteria mentioned in ISO26262 Part 2. We do have a TüV certificate Report No.:TD94012C on our development flow. See LP8764-Q1 / LP8762-Q1 safety manual, Chapter 3.

Is the Independent assessor of I3 level as expected per Part 2 Table 1 and is there any document that depicts that the independence? Could you share us that

I can check this with our functional safety team. So I will get back to you on this probably through email.

    Thanks!

    Best regards,

    Ishtiaque Panhwar

  • Hello Jahanvi,

Is the Independent assessor of I3 level as expected per Part 2 Table 1 and is there any document that depicts that the independence? Could you share us that

Coming back to above question, this is to confirm that I3 level condition of independent assessor is met and documented in our TI internal documents as per ISO26262 requirements. But unfortunately we cannot share the TI internal documents for this request.

    Best regards,

    Ishtiaque Panhwar
