Tool/software:

I am connecting more than 20 high voltage current and voltage sensor to my board all need dual power supply +/-24V. Due to any sensor failure , miswiring, misconnection short other sensor should get the power and i should get the power supply failure fault signal to that particular sensor .I need device to fulfill the following hardware requirement :

Sensor Power Supply protection Dual Power Supply +24 V and -24 V.
Need Protection in both polarities of power supply.
Should get the sensor power supply fault signal if any sensor get failed.
Sensors are voltage and current sensor for traction converter.
Should have emi/emc transient compliance
Shall not have 8-10 pins
Current protection setting shall be settable from external resistor.
Minimum current limit setting can be as low as 20 mA.
Protection of both 24V and -24VC is required.
Shall handle the hot swapping , in case sensor connected to that particular power supply connector.
Part which is used in Railway or automatic sensor.

Can i connect negative to GND of IC ? in this case supply range will be considered as 48 Volt.

Welcome to E2E.

TPS2662/TPS2661 is a good candidate here.

You need +-24V AC miswiring protection on output side, right!

What will be input voltage in that case? Is it 24V DC?

Sensors i need to power from my board are DVL500/LTC600-SF i.e. Current and Voltage sensors. Supply for them is +24 and -24 V. How i can connect this IC at -24V side ? I can connect TPS2662 ic to 24 side but what about -24 V ?

please suggest me solution like LTC4200 does for +12/-12V i need for +24/-24Volt.

I think you can use tps2661 and not tps2662.

TPS2661 can be used fo 32mA max is 45mA but my load is more than 200mA. This device i have used for 4-20mA Protection .

Your system requirement is not clear to us.

You need your system to work at both positive and negative voltage rail?

What's your max current requirement?

Yes , sensor will be excited from my board by +24 V and -24V. I need protection for positive and negative voltage. Maximum current is 300mA.

Unfortunately, we have currently maximum 20mA current protection for sensors and DAC.

Can you let us know the sensor part number? It will help us to come up with new devices in our portfolio.

The requirement is not for the protection of the sensor output current. The requirement is for the protection of the sensor power supply connected to my control card. The device TPS26623DRCT serves the purpose for 24V side protection, but TI does not have any component with the same features for -24V protection.
