LMZ23603 Models

Sergio,

The unencrypted PSpice model should run properly in any simulator that allows PSpice models to be used. I do not know of any generic SPICE errors that would occur unless the software tool does not support PSpice model constructs.

In addition, there is a PSpice average model in the product folder. If you did not obtain the unencrypted version, you would have to request it as well. Please note that average models (for AC simulation and a Bode plot) may have a very different circuit associated with them than the transient circuit.

The model TINA-TI transient model for the LMZ23603 model has been released to the product folder and should appear in 1-2 days. The average model developement is also in the pipeline and should be released shortly.

I appreciate your efforts, unfortunately this does not work. In fact, this now shows itself as encrypted with a series of odd characters.

Thank you for your assistance in this simulation. I was able to get this to work...one final question. I noticed that the output filter cap has the ref des of CO. I wanted to change the value, but noticed it was a part of a subcircuit macro.. should I just shunt this with my actual cap for my simulation?

Sergio,

You can remove it and replace it with the value and capacitor you prefer to use. That is a subcircuit that we were using to represent the EVM capacitor, I believe. No issues with simply removing it and replacing it with your Output capacitor value and ESR.
