DRV8871: Using case of DAC to ILIM pin

Hi,

We wants to adjust the current limit by DAC.
I think this circuit is like Figure 15 in datasheet of DRV8885.
Can we use to adjust the current limit as below?

Hi Shimizu-san,

Yes, the circuit shown can be used. Please note that there is only slow decay mode is available for this device.

Hi Shimizu-san,

The application report for the DRV8884/85/86/86AT can be used for the DRV8871 also.
Please refer to the application report: www.ti.com/.../slva872.pdf

Replace ARREF with VILIM, VRREF remains the same at 1.232, and RREF with RILIM.
